The purpose of this website is to promote networking amongst communities and industries working in the single- and few-photon regime. It addresses the need for the international comunity to work together.

The website is for you, the community; As members, you can post messages/information to your colleagues, announcing events, publications, events, products.

We welcome your feddback on how we can improve the usefulnes of this site.

The website was launched (as photoncount.com) at the 2nd Single Photon Workshop held at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) in Teddington, U.K. on 24 – 26 October 2005. The inaugural Single Photon Workshop was held at the National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST), Gaithersburg, USA, in 2003.

In 2013, the website moved to a new domain address – photoncount.org – which should be more stable long term.
